This research project addresses the challenges of maximizing visualization effectiveness and facilitating visualization use: effective visualization for analysis. The system relies on the strengths of machines in building probabilistic models of large volumes of data and on the strengths of humans in identifying patterns in dynamic visualizations of the models.
